-Each team goes three and out on its first possession.
1:41 - BILLS TOUCHDOWN - RYAN FITZPATRICK 8-YARD PASS TO DAVID NELSON - 7-0 BUFFALO - The Bills offense gets things together and looks as good as it has in weeks. Fitzpatrick puts together a 13-play 90-yard drive making good use of both C.J. Spiller and Stevie Johnson. Bills take a 7-0 lead.
-INJURY NOTE: DL Marcell Dareus is out of the game - the report from the Bills in the press box in New Jersey is that he's sick.
-INJURY UPDATE - Dareus has returned to the game.
12:07 - JETS TOUCHDOWN - MARCK SANCHEZ 3-YARDS TO DUSTIN KELLER - 7-7 GAME. The Jets counter with a 10-play 78-yard drive with the Bills defense giving up massive chunks of yardage to even the game.
-The Bills first drive of the second quarter stalls. 3rd and 4 play Fitzpatrick hands the ball to the newly acquired Tashard Choice who gets stuffed for a loss of five. The positive today is that Fitzpatrick has Stevie Johnson effective and involved in the passing game. To this point, Johnson has 4-catches for 39-yards.
-3rd and 8 play for the Bills and it's former first round pick Aaron Maybin that comes up with the sack on Ryan Fitzpatrick. That ends the drive that started at midfield and the Bills come away with nothing.
2:06 - BILLS TOUCHDOWN - RYAN FITZPATRICK 5-YARDS TO STEVIE JOHNSON - 14-7 BUFFALO. After a terrific Brian Moorman punt pins the Jets back at their own one-yard line, Drayton Florence picks off Mark Sanchez and sets the Bills up at the New York 20. Fitzpatrick goes 20-yards in three plays and hits Stevie Johnson on a 5-yard touchdown. Johnson has 5-catches for 44-yards on Jets corner Darrelle Revis. Very impressive. What wasn't was his celebration of the touchdown imitating Plaxico Burress shooting himself. He then went on to mock the Jets TD celebration imitating a jet flying and then fell to the turf pretending to crash. That cost 15-yards on the ensuing kickoff that the Bills botched, and allowed the Jets to tie the game before the half.
1:03 - JETS TOUCHDOWN - MARK SANCHEZ 4-YARDS PLAXICO BURRESS - GAME TIED 14-14. To make matters worse, kicker Dave Rayner botched the kickoff and the Jets took possession of the ball at the 36-yard line. The Jets make Buffalo pay for the mistake. Four plays later its in the end zone and it's Burress that has the last laugh on the score.
-Maybin comes up with his second sack of the game ending the Buffalo drive.
3:58 - JETS TOUCHDOWN - MARK SANCHEZ 18-YARD TO DUSTIN KELLER - JETS LEAD 21-14. The Jets take the lead for the first time on the day after an 8-play 80-yard drive.
2:19 - BILLS TOUCHDOWN - RYAN FITZPATRICK 36-YARD PASS TO BRAD SMITH - GAME TIED 21-21. The Jets had stopped the Bills drive but Antonio Cromartie turns the football over on the punt return and Leodis McKelvin recovered for the Bills. That led to the touchdown pass from Fitzpatrick to the former Jet Brad Smith who deflected the ball up in the air in attempting to prevent the interception by Cromartie. He would up catching the deflection for the touchdown as the Bills tie the game.
-Steve Johnson is having a heck of a day against Revis. He's got 8-catches for 75-yards and a touchdown and the game is early in the fourth quarter.
9:51 - BILLS FG - DAVE RAYNER FROM 53-YARDS - BILLS LEAD 24-21. The Bills drive stalls on a 3rd and 9 incompletion from Ryan Fitzpatrick and Rayner connects on a 53-yarder to give the Bills the lead after drive that went 47-yards in 14-plays and took 6:52 off the clock.
1:01 - JETS TOUCHDOWN - MARK SANCHEZ 16-YARD PASS TO SANTONIO HOLMES - JETS LEAD 28-24. Sanchez throws his fourth touchdown pass of the day to give the Jets the lead with 1:01 left in the fourth quarter. Sanchez rolled right and showd patience while Holmes cut open in the right side of the end zone. Prior to that, Sanchez completed a key 3rd and 11 to Plaxico Burress.
00:00 - Ryan Fitzpatrick throws incomplete to Steve Johnson in the end zone to end the game. The Bills drove the ball down the field in and were in position to try to score a game winning touchdown. Johnson dropped a key pass that was on the money over the middle from Fitzpatrick. Johnson was at the 20-yard line and might have scored on the play had he caught the football. New York's Aaron Maybin was called offsides on the play. Fitzpatrick then missed a wide open Johnson in the end zone on 2nd and 7 failing to take advantage of a blown defensive assignment by the Jets. He then threw incomplete to Brad Smith and Johnson on the final two plays of the game.
FINAL SCORE: JETS 28 BILLS 24.
