School goes into lockdown after shots fired call

Shots Fired Put Buffalo School In Lockdown

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Buffalo Public School 30 went into lockdown Monday afternoon following a report of shots fired, Buffalo Police say. 

A call about shots fired in the area of Rhode Island Street and Lowell Place came in between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The school went into lockdown at 3:30 p.m.

The lockdown was lifted just after 4 p.m. Police then helped with grade-by-grade dismissal from the school. No injuries have been reported.
