GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. - Five people are facing charges following two separate prostitution operations on Grand Island Wednesday night, according to a news release from the Erie County Sheriffs department.
In the first case, detectives from the Narcotics Unit and road patrol deputies arrested Shawn Pryor, 24, Barbara Schreiner, 25, and Nichelle Robinson, 18, all of Niagara Falls.
According to the department, Schreiner was arrested after allegedly agreeing to have sex for money with a plain clothes deputy. She and the others faced additional charges after it was discovered the vehicle they were driving was reported stolen from Cheektowaga.
In a second incident, deputies charged Malissa Collins, 34 and Amy Lindgren, 36, both of Buffalo, with prostitution.
All five are set to be arraigned in Grand Island Town Court Thursday afternoon.
