Police investigating stolen car arson

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. -- Jamestown Police are asking for the public's help in their investigation of a stolen vehicle arson. 

Police say the stolen vehicle was found early Friday morning in an area off Lister Ave on the rail road tracks. 

A bystander said they saw the vehicle engulfed in flames at about 4:45 a.m. Jamestown Fire responded and put the fire out. 

The 2010 Toyota Camry is believed to be stolen from the driveway of a home on Lovall Ave., police say.  

Police are looking for any information possible about the incident. Those with information can call the department's anonymous tip line at 716-483-Tips (8477) or Crime Stoppers at 716-867-6161 where tipsters can be eligible for a reward if their tip leads to an arrest.
