Police investigating Erb Street shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Buffalo Police say a man was struck by gunfire in a shooting Monday evening. 

The shooting happened in the first block of Erb Street just before 7:30 p.m. 

Police have not released the name of the man who was shot. They say he was transported to the Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.

On Tuesday, Buffalo Police said the 21-year-old Buffalo man was in fair condition at ECMC.
