Countererfeit Money Used In Tonawanda

CITY OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. -- City of Tonawanda Police say counterfeit money was used at several local stores last week.  

Police say two men made small purchases at convenient stores and paid with fake fifty dollar bills. 

Police believe there were three men and two women who entered the stores at one time. 

Anyone with information is asked to call City of Tonawanda Police Detectives at 716-692-2121 ext. 308.
