No Foul Play Suspected in College Student's Death

OLEAN, NY - No foul play is expected in the death of St. Bonaventure student Tyler Davis. The 19-year-old was found dead near the campus on Sunday.

Cattaraugus County Sheriff Timothy Whitcomb told 2 On Your Side that when a search team found Davis near the west entrance to campus, he was wearing jeans, a t-shirt and a light sweatshirt, "he was not dressed for the weather conditions and that may have contributed to his death."

Davis was last seen leaving a house party on East Union Street in Olean. It is not far from the campus. The police investigation remains open. The Sheriff says toxicology test results will be important. "Some of those reports may lead us into another investigation at that party. I'm not at liberty to comment on what, if anything was going at that house party that he left at this time," said Whitcomb.

Tyler Davis was a sophomore history major from Rochester, NY.
