Niagara Falls, Amtrack reach lease agreement

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- Taxpayers spent $44 million dollars on a new train station in Niagara Falls that opened in July.

It's been empty for months, but that will change soon with Amtrak and the city announcing a 20-year lease agreement.
Amtrak will pay a share of operating and maintenance costs and will get about two-thirds of the station.
The rest of it will be filled with an underground railroad museum and retail space
