WNY Marine's Body Returns Home

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y.- The body of Rich Jones returned home, arriving today at the Buffalo Niagara airport. The Western New York marine who lost his life in California was killed in an accident on a San Diego freeway. After he had gotten out of his car to help victims of another crash.

Jones was a Frontier volunteer firefighter before enlisting.

Funeral arrangements have set for the Niagara County Marine who died in a traffic accident in San Diego last week.

Calling hours for Rich Jones will be at the Lane Funeral Home on Buffalo Ave. in Niagara Falls from 2 p.m.- 5 p.m. on March 2 and 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. on March 3.

On March 4 the funeral for Jones will be held at Riverside Presbyterian Church on 84th Street in Niagara Falls at 10 a.m. Following the funeral there will be an entombment at Acacia Park Cemetery.
