Mixer held to benefit young women scholarships

BUFFALO, N.Y. - This weekend, a special mixer was held to recognize and raise money for scholarships to benefit young women in Western New York.

Eagle Wings is a small organization started to benefit and celebrate young women entering college. This year, three young women received scholarships: Nacima Scott of Cheektowaga Central; Ashley Sanders of Tapestry Charter School and Nadia of City Honors School.
