BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The art and science of food was celebrated Tuesday evening while helping a good cause.
Hundreds of hungry guests gathered for the event, Men Who Cook, at Statler City on Delaware Ave. in Buffalo.
The event raised funds and awareness for Crisis Services, the most comprehensive crisis center in Upstate New York, according to its website. Crisis services offers programs such as a 24-hour hotline, emergency mobile outreach services, and outreach to the homeless.
2 On Your Side is proud to be a sponsor of the event. The station's own Pete Gallivan cooked with a chef from Mes-Que, a Buffalo soccer bar and restaurant, to help feed around 400 guests.
