Man charged with stabbing on Bailey Ave.

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Buffalo police say they have arrested a 17-year-old in connection to a stabbing Tuesday morning. 

The incident happened at about 5:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of Bailey Ave.

The suspect allegedly stabbed the other person with a metal hair pick, according to police

The suspect fled from the scene and was apprehended not long after near Bailey and Oakmont avenues.  The suspect was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and felony assault.   

The victim, a 45-year-old man, was treated at the Erie County Medical Center and then released.
