BUFFALO, N.Y. - City leaders are marking the final phase of a big redevelopment project in Downtown Buffalo.
Paving work is now complete on the $3.5 million Genesee Gateway Streetscsape project. The street resurfacing is a big part of the project. But it also includes new landscaping and sidewalks.
"This investment is making downtown Buffalo much more competitive to attract private sector investment that creates jobs for the residents of Buffalo and Western New York," said Mayor Byron Brown.
Mayor Brown went on to say that it's rare that crews are able to work this far into November, but the weather has cooperated.
