LOCKPORT, NY — Fifty local artists, students and creatives from around the country took over two parking lots in downtown Lockport for the Fifth-Annual Chalk Festival.
The art work ranged from super heroes to recreations of master works of art, and 3-D chalk art.
"Utah, Michigan, Minnesota, Florida — they're coming from all over now, and it's really grown," said Ellen Martin, festival organizer. "People want to come to this festival because they love. They love being in Lockport, and they love the crowds that are in Western New York."
The event was inspired by a similar event held in Florida each year.
