Evans fireworks canceled

EVANS, NY -- A second Erie County town will be without their annual fireworks display for the 4th of July holiday.

The Town of Evans learned Wednesday that the vendor set to put on the show this Monday, July 3rd, had not gotten all the proper permits necessary. Roads that were scheduled to close for the pyrotechnic show will now be open.

The Town of Cheektowaga will also not have their annual fireworks display for the first time in many years.
