Erie County Eyes Study For Convention Center

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz has asked county legislators to approve a proposal for a feasibility study.

The study would cost about $150,000.

A consulting firm would be looking into whether the convention center can be expanded or replaced.

It was built in the 1970s and many county lawmakers believe it's outdated.

County legislators may vote on the proposal Thursday.
