Drug user in "Blink of an Eye" film appears in court

Officer Testifies Over BPD Heroin Movie

BUFFALO, N.Y.-- The man who appears to use heroin in a drug related short film about the addiction crisis, sponsored by the Buffalo Police Department, appeared in court Monday.

Robert Sagliani is trying to get the charges against him dropped. Sagliani claims Buffalo Police officer, Elizabeth Baker, offered to drop drug charges against him if he participated in the video.

Baker was one of those who testified Monday. She admitted to putting Sagliani in touch with the movie's writer and director, Greg Robbins, but claims she did not offer to drop his drug charges.

Robbins also took the stand, but didn't answer questions, citing his fifth amendment right against self-incrimination.

The case will return to court in July.
