Missing Pit Bull In Dogfighting Case Reportedly Found

BUFFALO, NY – There's a new development in a missing dog case that's gained the attention of a lot of Western New Yorkers.

The animal advocacy group Guardians of Rescue says tonight that this pit bull, named Ginja, has been found.

She was one of the dogs seized from the home of Buffalo police employee Shannon Richardson when he was arrested on dogfighting charges.

But she went missing from the city animal shelter, raising suspicions because she's a key piece of evidence in the case.

We've reached out to Buffalo police tonight for confirmation that she's been found but so far haven't gotten a response.
