Close Cleanup continued Saturday from Friday storms Tree Cleanup Continues After Thunderstorms WGRZ 12:12 AM. EDT August 06, 2017 CONNECT TWEET LINKEDIN GOOGLE+ PINTEREST BUFFALO, N.Y. -- City of Buffalo crews continued to clean up from Friday's thunderstorms on Saturday. Those storms took down hundreds of trees and branches, resulted in several power outages, and affected traffic signals. City forestry crews say they received over 100 calls regarding some type of tree damage. Officials said most of the tree clean up would be finished by Saturday night.
