CLARENCE, NY – A Clarence woman died in a mobile home fire that broke out just before 8 p.m. Friday night.
According to the Erie County Sheriff's Office, Nelsonia Voight, 76, died of smoke inhalation. The mobile home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at 9170 Sheridan Drive, in a trailer park near Main Street.
Erie County Sheriff's fire investigators say the cause of the fire was accidental, possibly caused by careless smoking. Their investigation is continuing.
