Buffalo Police warning residents of suspicious male

BUFFALO, NY - Buffalo Police are warning parents about a suspicious male who followed two students near St. Mark's School on Friday.

Police say the driver followed the two students as they were walking to the school parking lot at Amherst Street and Summit Avenue. They say the driver got out of the car and tried to approach the students. The students ran into the school and the suspect fled the area.

The driver is described as a white male, average height and weight, with shoulder length black hair and some facial hair.

The vehicle the male was driving could be a newer model Honda Accord, black with dark tinted windows.

On Monday, police reported a similar incident near Jewitt Parkway and Woodward Avenue. In that case, police say a young girl was followed by a man in a vehicle after she got off the bus and was walking home.

The victims both reported a newer black car with tinted windows.
