Buffalo, N.Y. - The Buffalo Philharmonic Friday night held a special concert and donated all of the proceeds to the Red Cross.
The concert at Kleinhans Music Hall celebrated the music of U2, which brought the spirit of giving because of the band.
"They really appreciate giving back, and so does the BPO," says the BPO Marketing Director Susan Schwarts. "So we tried to figure out a way that we could make this concert kind of in the spirit of Bono."
Five percent of the ticket sales are going to the Red Cross, and staying right here in Western New York for disaster relief services.
