Arcade Police catch individuals accused of vandalism

Police in the Wyoming County Village of Arcade say they have caught four individuals accused of vandalizing vehicles and streets signs.

ARCADE, N.Y. - Police in the Wyoming County Village of Arcade say they have caught four individuals accused of vandalizing vehicles and streets signs.

Police tell 2 On Your Side that Damien Brown, 20, and three teenagers, have been accused of the crime.

Each faces charges of Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree, Disorderly Conduct, and Conspiracy. 

The Arcade vandalism happened sometime between Friday night and early Saturday morning.  Police say at least nine vehicle, one boat, 2 bridges and several stop signs were tagged with graffiti.   One of the stop signs had a profane word written on it, while another was completely covered with white spray paint.

During their investigation, police say they discovered that the group may also be responsible for several acts of vandalism in the Towns of Orchard Park, Sardinia, and Yorkshire. 

Charges are pending in those other towns.
