One injured in fire at William and Jefferson

FIRE IN PLAZA AT WILLIAM AND JEFFERSON

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A firefighter was injured Wednesday while responding to a fire at a Towne Gardens Plaza store at William Street and Jefferson Ave. 

Buffalo Fire Department officials said they could not comment on the extent of the firefighter's injury at this time. They did say they do not believe any civilians were hurt. 

They also said they believe the fire started at the Boost Mobile store in this plaza. 

Damage to the building is estimated to be around $75,000. Damage to the building's content is estimated at $100,000. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
