BUFFALO, N.Y. - We have a happy update to a mother's plea for help that we told you about a few weeks ago.
Francesa Kurnick was trying to find a way to raise the money needed to fly her 43-year-old disabled daughter to Portland, Oregon so they could relocate and be with family.
Sarah Kurnick is considered medically fragile and needs around-the-clock nursing care. That means she needed to be transported by an air ambulance.
The owners of an air ambulance saw our story and they will be taking Sarah to Oregon at a greatly reduced cost.
