BUFFALO,N.Y. -- A reward of $1,000 is now being offered for information leading to the return of equipment that was stolen from the Shakespeare In Delaware Park production over the weekend.
New York State Senator Chris Jacobs and Buffalo Common Council Member Joel Feroleto held a press conference on Wednesday to announce the formation of a fundraiser to raise money for the reward.
Those also in attendance included Saul Elkin, the founder of Shakespeare in the Park, Stephanie Crockett, the Buffalo Olmstead Parks Conservancy Executive Director, and Mike Shatzel, a restaurateur, who will be sponsoring the fundraiser.
Buffalo Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to call or text the Buffalo Police Confidential TIPCALL Line at 716-847-2255.
