Looks like our nation's capital is America's most literate city.
That's right, Washington, D.C. tops tops an annual list of American's most literate cities for the second year in a row.
Central Connecticut State University did the study.
After Washington, Seattle, Minneapolis and Atlanta round out the top four.
Cities are ranked on six indicators of literacy: newspaper circulation, number of bookstores, library resources, periodical publishing resources, educational attainment, and Internet resources.
