Future of Buffalo Schools: Meet the school board candidates

BUFFALO, N.Y. - One of the most important Buffalo school board elections will take place on Tuesday, May 6th. In advance of election day, Two On Your Side has interviewed all 13 candidates who are trying to earn one of the three at-large spots on the school board.

The election comes at a time when graduation and attendance rates in the district are low, support for Superintendent Dr. Pamela Brown is dwindling and a few schools have been listed as "troubled."

In order to give voters as much information as possible, Two On Your Side's Steve Brown interviewed 12 candidates for a special that aired on May 2nd. You can see all of those interviews in video players on this page.

Larry Quinn, a Buffalo school board candidate was interviewed on Channel 2's Spiel The Wine program on April 26th. That interview can also be found in the video player on this page.

The videos on this page are listed in alphabetical order.

We encourage you to hear what the candidates have to say, vote and stay with wgrz.com for election coverage and results.
