Angel Flight New England (a.k.a. Angel Flight NE) is a non-profit organization that provides free air transportation to patients whose financial resources would not otherwise enable them to receive treatment or diagnosis, or who may live in rural areas without access to commercial airlines.

Joey DeMarco has transported patients to medical facilities along the east coast dozens of times, and continues to take time out of his daily schedule to accomodate people. Pilots like DeMarco offer their services at no cost to the patients, and all expenses are taken from their own pockets.

Angel Flight also is a vital mode of transportation for organs, blood and for patients awaiting organ transplants. They also make compassion flights and provide air care wherever there is a compelling human need.

While patients primarily live in the northeast United States, Angel Flight provides flights for people as far north as Maine, as far west as Minnesota and as far south as Florida and Louisiana. Approximately 50% of patients are children, generally suffering from severe burns or cancer.

Since 1996, Angel Flight has flown over 8 million miles.
