Unique Eats: Hyde Park Steakhouse

Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse located in the Walden Galleria is one of Western New York's newest restaurants. So our question to their manager:

2 On Your Side's Mike Igoe: "What are you striving for. What's the goal of your restaurant for people who haven't been here yet?"

Daniel, restaurant manager: "We are a classic steak house with kind of a contemporary twist to it. We do stress service. Although the decor looks a bit ritzy, we are without any doubt a causal restaurant."

Since this is a steak house it's probably not surprising their first offering to us is their steak wilson.

"It's a 10-ounce filet mignon in a pool of bourdelais sauce topped with lobster. It's covered with bernais sauce and served with asparagus spears and mushroom caps."

"I don't know if I ever had lobster on my steak before. But it's very good I like it."

Next dish their prime rib.

"We pride ourselves on our prime rib. We're pretty much I think the only ones in town that offer prime rib seven days a week."

"I'm very impressed that somehow Hyde Park knew that Mike Igoe likes his prime rib medium rare."

Finally, check out this huge shell fish assortment, called The Hyde. It features crab, shrimp cocktail, oysters and a lobster on top.

"Our dishes range from $16 all the way up to $50."
