AMHERST, NY - Amherst Police are investigating a fatal car accident.

The accident happened at the intersection of Wehrle Drive and Darwin Drive just after 2 p.m.

Police say two cars collided at that intersection.  One driver, 84-year-old Loretta Sperrazzo, was killed.  The other driver was not hurt.

There's no word on what caused the accident.
