BUFFALO, NY - Did you make spring travel plans out of the country, but forget to order a passport in time? You're in luck, because this weekend the Buffalo Passport Agency at 111 Genesee Street in Downtown Buffalo will host "Passport Day In the USA."

The agency invites those in need of a passport immediately to attend the event between 10am and 3pm this Saturday. Buffalo Passport Agency Director James Theis says that normally applicants must first make an appointment, but this Saturday is an exception.

"You can just come in and ask some questions, see what the agency looks like or you can apply for a passport if you want," said James Theis, Director of the Buffalo Passport Agency.

Since opening it's doors back in October 2010, this local passport office is the only place in Western New York where a person can apply for, and receive a passport for immediate travel.
