Former firefighter sentenced for arson

NORTH TONAWANDA, NY-- A former North Tonawanda firefighter will spend ten years in prison for arson.

Matthew Jurado received his sentence Friday in Niagara County court.  He admitted to setting fire to the home of his neighbor and fellow firefighter Kenneth Walker almost a year ago

The fire happened days after Walker, the city's only black firefighter, got a racist and threatening letter.  Jurado still says he's not the one who sent it.
