12 charged with promoting gambling

BUFFALO, NY--  Twelve people are facing charges for allegedly playing a dice game.

Buffalo Police were called to the 100 block of Theodore Street  around 9:30pm Monday.

Police say they found 12 people gambling, using dice inside a yard.   None of the 12 lived at the residence.

Police also seized over $1,800 in cash.

Charged with promoting gambling and trespassing:   Andre Pellam, Jaquan Curry, Hadassah Quarles, James Bostic, Howard Pompey, Demetrius Robinson, Rahshib Callahan, Howard Bishop, Johnnie Small, Dandre Steward, Terrance Chestnut all of Buffalo, and Rickie Robinson of Amherst.
