Common Council Writes Letter Supporting New Stadium

BUFFALO, N.Y.- The Buffalo Common Council has written a letter to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell concerning a new stadium for the Buffalo Bills.

The council said that a new multi-purpose sports facility along Buffalo's waterfront would not only enhance the NFL brand but also improve the brand and economy of Western New York.

Council members said that they're ready to work with the NFL to make it happen.

They ended the letter by saying, "We understand that it takes almost a decade to build a state-of-the-art facility and we also understand the risks of not preparing for the inevitable challenges of the future."
