Clymer man arrested on marijuana possession

JAMESTOWN, NY — A Clymer man is facing drug charges after police say they found LSD and more than 20 grams of marijuana in his vehicle.

Thomas McFarren, 28, was pulled over by police on East 2nd Street for a traffic violation. When speaking with McFarren, NYS troopers saw marijuana in plain view in his back seat. Troopers searched his vehicle and found strip of LSD, concentrated cannabis weighing approximately 2.3 ounces and bag containing approximately 23.5 grams of marijuana.

McFarren was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

He was processed at the State Police Department in Jamestown and released with appearance tickets. 

He is scheduled to appear in the City of Jamestown Court next month.
