South Buffalo Man Shot Accidentally in Bar Fight

BUFFALO, NY -- One person is in police custody after a shooting early Saturday morning. The incident happened shortly after 3:30 A.M. on Seneca Street near Brandy's Bar.  

Buffalo Police say a 25-year-old one male bystander was shot in the leg after an argument started between two other people. The man was taken to Erie County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.  

Police arrested Brian Farrell, 47, of West Seneca and charged him with assault, reckless endangerment, menacing and criminal use of a firearm.

The victim is in fair condition at ECMC.
