BUFFALO, NY - Bus driver Darnell Barton is continuing to receive recognition for his selfless actions.
Barton was headed down Elmwood Avenue last week when he spotted a young woman who had climbed over the railing.
Stopping his bus in traffic, Barton helped the woman back over the rail and away from what might have been a tragedy.
Since then the community has hailed Darnell Barton a hero. He's received recognition from Donald Trump, who gave Barton $10,000 dollars, and had a spot on the Today Show.
On Monday Lou Billittier Jr., the owner of Chef's restaurant, honored Darnell Barton with dinner and tickets to a Sabres game.
Billitier offered to treat all the students that were on the bus that day to dinner as well.
But, there was one more recognition that Lou Billittier had for Darnell Barton Monday morning.
