Doug Marrone has made the call and as expected, Bills running back C.J. Spiller will not play against the Saints in New Orleans.
Spiller has been struggling to recover from an ankle injury for the past several weeks. Earlier in the week, Marrone had said they needed to make a "good decision" with Spiller as he struggled to get "over the hump."
Spiller had said he thought he could play through the injury earlier in the week, but the Bills are taking the cautious approach in hopes that he can recover in time to face the Kansas City Chiefs in Orchard Park next Sunday.
In other injury news, Saints tight end Jimmy Graham is active for this game against Buffalo.
