BUFFALO, N.Y. -- It's an event organizers say they wish they did not have to have. But people will come together on Sunday to remember a little boy and raise awareness about child abuse.
The group Eain's Echo is named after Eain Brooks. They are holding a child abuse awareness walk Sunday from noon till three in Delaware Park.
Eain died recently, allegedly at the hands of his mother's boyfriend. Eain's grandmother helped found Eain's Echo to help end child abuse.
Walkers should meet at the Jewett Parkway entrance to Delaware Park. There will be a registration fee of five dollars.
All proceeds will go to the Eain's Echo Foundation which will be embarking on a multi-faceted campaign to prevent child abuse.
