BUFFALO, N.Y.- It's slowly getting colder outside and as much as we don't want to admit it we're going to have to start turning the heat back on soon.
National Fuel tells us that the cost to heat your home for five months is expected to be about $714 this winter.
That means the average customer would pay about $19 more per month compared to last year.
National Fuel also says that even with that increase most people who have natural gas would be paying less than they were 8 years ago.
It's important to keep in mind that how much you actually pay depends on how long winter lasts.
