Record Rainfall and Flooding

BUFFALO, NY- Record rainfall of 2.79" was set in Buffalo today, which breaks the old daily record of 1.49" set in 1992.

Minor flooding reported today in locations such as Amherst, with road flooding reported on Niagara Falls Boulevard and Maple.

Due to the weather, the Buffalo Sabres have cancelled tonight's Blue & Gold carpet event at the First Niagara Center prior to their game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

A few showers left tonight otherwise partly to mostly cloudy at times.  Chilly low of 48.

Mostly cloudy to start Sunday off with a few showers possible in the morning, then partly sunny by the late afternoon.  Cooler highs in the mid to upper 50s.
