GOWANDA, NY- An Erie County woman is charged with attempted murder after she allegedly stabbed her ex-boyfriend and another female.
Gowanda Police say Carol R. Silverheels, 48, stopped at her ex-boyfriend's house on Chestnut Street when an argument ensued.
They say Silverheels used a butcher knife to stab the male victim in the chest and the female victim in the back and hand and then fled.
The male victim was taken to E.C.M.C. The female victim was taken to Lakeshore Hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
Silverheels was located and arrested a short time later. She is charged with attempted murder, assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. She was arraigned and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail on $25,000 bail.
