CHEEKTOWAGA, NY - An 81-year-old Cheektowaga man who went missing Tuesday after he failed to catch a connecting flight to Buffalo out of JFK Airport has been located.

Pasquale DeNora was found by a New York City police officer outside of a Manhattan apartment building Friday, his daughter Mary Steinhauser tells 2 On Your Side. She said her father is at Bellevue Hospital for observation and that a relative who lives in the New York City area has been checking up on him. Her father is stable at this time, although somewhat disoriented, Steinhauser said.

A New York City police officer out of Manhattan's 13th precinct called her around 9 p.m. Friday night to say that her father had been located and was in good health.

She hasn't spoken directly with her father yet, and doesn't know where he has been since Tuesday or how he got from JFK Airport to Manhattan, she's just relieved to know that he is safe.

DeNora was returning to Western New York from a trip to his birthplace in Italy when he missed his connecting flight at JFK.
