Police Arrest Man After Lancaster Standoff

LANCASTER, N.Y. - Police tell 2 on your side that an area man sustained non-life threatening injuries after jumping off a building.

Thomas Bailey, 36, was taken to Erie County Medical Center, for treatment of his injuries and a mental evaluation, according to Lancaster police.

Lancaster police say Bailey was not armed despite initial reports that he had a rifle.

State Police, Cheektowaga Police, Amherst Police, and Lancaster police were all on scene.

Police had the area blocked off, and our crew on the scene saw Erie County's Air One Helicopter fly over the area.
