BUFFALO, N.Y. -- We have an important note for those who watch us on Time Warner Cable.
The cable company recently did some work that may affect your ability to receive our high definition programming.
The only customers affected are those who have televisions in their homes directly connected to a cable line and not a cable box.
Getting our HD channel back on your TV requires a simple fix to your TV settings.
"What you need to do is you need to go into the menu or the setup mode. Go to the section where it says scan for new channels, and you need to rescan on your cable setting for new channels and our channel will be there," said WGRZ Assistant Chief Engineer John Lindner.
Again, this only affects HD televisions with cable lines directly connected to them and not to a cable box.
You can also look at your television manual for more detailed instructions on how to rescan for HD channels.
