BUFFALO, NY-- A Williamsville man has admitted making and possessing homemade explosive devices in the apartment complex where he lived.
Last August, Amherst Police, along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives executed a search warrant at the home of Duncan Badding at 66 Williamsburg Square.
Inside they found a variety of explosive materials, chemicals and mixtures, as well as apparent destructive devices and parts intended to be turned into destructive devices. All of the evidence taken was later detonated.
Badding pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court Tuesday to unlawfully making and unlawfully possessing destructive devices.
He faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine or both when sentenced by Chief Judge William Skretny at a date to be set later.
