LONDON (AP) - The new Prince of Cambridge greeted the media and well-wishers outside of the hospital Tuesday with his mother Duchess Kate and father Prince William.
Palace officials have confirmed Prince William and his wife, Kate, are the proud parents of a baby boy!
The baby was born at 4:24pm local time in London and weighed in at 8lbs & 6oz.
A press release states the Duchess of Cambridge is doing well.
No official name has been announced for the baby as of yet.
Royal officials say Kate arrived at St. Mary's Hospital in central London this morning with Prince William. Kate - also known as the Duchess of Cambridge - is expected to give birth in the private Lindo Wing of the hospital, where Princess Diana gave birth to William and his younger brother, Prince Harry.

A spokesman for the royal couple says they traveled from Kensington Palace, where they spent the weekend, by car and without a police escort just before 6 a.m.
The baby will be third in line for the British throne - behind Prince Charles and William - and is anticipated eventually to become king or queen.
The medical team will be led by royal gynecologist Dr. Marcus Setchell.
The child will be the first for William and Kate, who married in 2011 after a long courtship.
