Wegmans Food Markets Inc. and Tops Friendly Markets are joining the growing ranks of retailers that won't carry an upcoming issue of "Rolling Stone" magazine featuring an accused Boston bombing suspect on the cover.
"Rolling Stone" has been broadly criticized for its Aug. 1 issue, which features a self-taken photo of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on its cover, as well as a long story examining how he seemingly became involved in radical Islam.
Wegmans said Thursday it would not carry the issue, though it did not elaborate.
Such retail chains as CVS and Walgreens earlier this week also said they would not carry the issue.
