CORFU, N.Y. -- A Town of Pembroke judge and his daughter have been arrested by State Police.

Troopers say that an audit of the Village of Corfu by the New York State Comptroller discovered $10,000 could not be accounted for.
According to the indictment, Brandi A. Watts, 32, allegedly filled out time sheets for hours she did not work as the Village Court Clerk. She is charged with 53 counts of offering a false instrument, two counts of grand larceny and five counts with tampering with public records.
Watts was arraigned and remanded to the county jail on $10,000 bail.
Her father, Pembroke Town Justice and former Village of Corfu judge Robert E. Alexander, 67, is charged with coercion an official misconduct.
Alexander was released on his own recognizance and has to return to court on July 22.
